 John
and Donna Spencer married a few short years after Bill’s
Pizza Pub first opened by Donna’s parents in 1968.
They operate the Randleman Road and Oak Ridge locations.
The Spencer’s adult children and son-in-law all work
alongside them, together striving to maintain quality
food at a reasonable price.
The very first Bill’s
was on High Point Road just down the road where Donna’s
mother still operates. It included a bar, which
inspired the name. This part of the restaurant,
the pub, was host to many young people who frequented it
for the great food, beverage and social atmosphere.
You came for dinner and stayed for pinball.
The restaurant presently
caters to families and individuals alike who have come
to love the food, especially the square-cut pizza.
The family loves to create a new pizza representing one
of the many different cultures in America.
